Farouq Hamad Sultan Al Essa is a member of the Board of Directors representing Kuwait LBO Fund, a shareholder of Automak, has extensive experience in corporate finance and portfolio management, which he gained during his tenure at the Kuwait Investment Authority, where he was director of European and Far East investments.

He is presently the CEO of Kuwait LBO Fund. His previous roles include executive positions in local and regional financial institutions. He holds an MBA from Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.
