Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitors, controls and analyzes Spare parts budgets, targets, objectives and goals for performance and implements necessary actions for improvement.
  • Reviews & finalizes the annual forecast of spare parts quantities, communicates with suppliers and manufacturers for ordering and follows up for the delivery.
  • Ensures the proper implementation of warehouse operation system and ensures that the processes are aligned with operation guidelines of the company.
  • Organizes and implements parts and goods procurement activities related to each dealerships divisions and maintains control over the financials to assist the Senior Management Team in all aspects of running the dealership
  • Responsible for parts inventory and warehouse management and makes sure that all operational activities and processes are within the company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Contributes to achieve annual parts sales and gross margin objectives as per annual financial objectives.
  • Monitors Parts stocking levels and manages a healthy inventory in line with the company policies and procedures to attain fill rate and customer satisfaction objectives and to reduce dead stock.
  • Manages overall parts stocks and warehousing, bin location and all related field updates, parts categorizations and periodic inventory analysis.
  • Monitors and Introduces parts stock turnover optimization strategies for better ROI. 
  • Plans and improves warehouse space and resources utilizations in all locations in an effective manner to improve productivity and reduce operational cost.
  • Organizes & conducts periodic perpetual inventory and Annual inventory as per company guidelines and procedures.
  • Plans & executes Parts supply chain and distribution across all outlets and Service centers in an effective manner to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Reviews and implements credit policies with current and new suppliers or vendors.
  • Plans and oversees Logistics operation and shipments of spare parts and goods supplied from outside the country
  • Communicates and negotiates with suppliers, vendors and manufacturers to get the best offers in terms of prices and quality of parts and goods.
  • Communicates and follows up with suppliers and internal departments for payments, logistics, custom clearance, and any other related legal procedures to ensure the smooth operations in the department.
  • Analyzes the parts sales trend comparing with budget, verifies the discrepancies, and develops action plans for maximizing sales & revenue.
  • Coaches, directs and supports employees, conducts performance evaluation, motivates them to achieve the target and customer satisfaction and authorizes incentives based on achievements.
  • Ensures that all levels of parts personnel are adequately trained & provided with up-to-date technical data.
  • Ensures of implementing the promotions activities properly in coordination with marketing dept in comparison with competitive market.
  • Participates in external sales activities such as training, conferences, franchisee meetings, prepare all reports related to discuss & communicate with team.
  • Ensures of implementing & informing the admin rules & regulations properly.
  • Identifies and recommends training needs and staff development, Periodic staff evaluations.   Ensure employee satisfaction & discipline in line with Co requirements.
  • Ensures to comply and maintain the parts operation procedures associated with ISO quality standards
