We are extremely proud to announce that 2 of our Key Management Personnel i.e. Mr. Omar Al Omar, General Manager (GM) – Commercial Sector (Ref. Picture# 1) and Mr. Waleed Khalifa, Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Finance & Admin Sector (Ref. Picture# 2) have successfully completed the Program for Leadership Development Program (Accelerating the Careers of High-Potential Leaders) from the Prestigious & World-Renowned Harvard Business School (HBS) commencing from December 2009–July 2010.
The Program for Leadership Development is devised for Companies to help invest in their next generation of leaders who are critical to them to sustain the Companies competitive advantage and achieve corporate growth over the long term. The Program equips functional managers with the advanced decision-making and execution skills they need to excel as multifaceted leaders. Participants emerge well equipped to take on greater cross-functional responsibilities—and ultimately drive performance throughout the organization.
The Course of Study included both on and off-campus modules and offered an integrated set of individual and classroom components. The Modules mainly consisted of -

Guest Speakers on the Global Financial Crisis also shared insights on the redefined role of the financial sector and on new forms of investment such as sovereign wealth funds.
Recognizing that today's tough economic environment calls for visionary leaders, the Program for Leadership Development presented an integrated view of the fundamentals of management. By gaining a deeper understanding of core business functions, participants acquired a broader leadership vision. At the macroeconomic level, timely topics included the mortgage crisis, the current account deficit, and the links between developed economies and emerging markets. Participants also examined how the global meltdown had impacted their own industries. The result is a personal and professional transformation that not only supports the company's succession planning, but also strengthens its competitive position in challenging times.
The participants had the important opportunity to:
