We are extremely proud to announce that 2 of our Key Management Personnel i.e. Mr. Omar Al Omar, General Manager (GM) – Commercial Sector (Ref. Picture# 1) and Mr. Waleed Khalifa, Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Finance & Admin Sector (Ref. Picture# 2) have successfully completed the Program for Leadership Development Program (Accelerating the Careers of High-Potential Leaders) from the Prestigious & World-Renowned Harvard Business School (HBS) commencing from December 2009–July 2010.

Automak recently completed the sale of 2 Freightliner M2 112 Business Class Tractor Heads to Halliburton which were delivered to their location in Qatar on 27th July 2010.

Equate awarded Contract#4500001769 to Automak for Leasing of Buses with drivers which is scheduled to start effective 1 November 2010 to 31 October 2013, for a duration of 36 months.

Automak Shuwaikh offices were recently renovated by Element 8, a company based out of Hawalli, Kuwait and who are well recognized for their creativity, communication, reliability, friendliness, comprehension, and listening skills.

Various talented, proficient and capable personnel were appointed by Automak for different levels of the company based on the requirements and openings present in the departments.

Automak successfully delivered an assortment of vehicles to various contracts in line with the requirements of the same. The division of the delivery was as follows –

Certificates of Appreciations and cash bonuses were awarded to 31 personnel in Automak by the General Manager – Mr. Ghazi Omar for their outstanding performance for Delivery of New Vehicles & Mobilization of New Contracts.

Various capable & proficient personnel were appointed for 2010 by Automak in Q1 & Q2; namely being Fleet Dispatchers, Fleet Controllers, Service Advisors, Senior Corporate Sales Representatives, SPOT Rental & Counter Agents and Car Washers along with a variety of drivers deployed to various contracts.

The Kuwait Times Newspaper (Business Section) on June 15th 2010 featured an article (English) on Automak listing the opening of two new locations; mainly being the luxurious five-star Al Manshar Rotana Hotel in Fahaheel and at the busy downtown Holiday Inn Hotel.

Automak received a ‘Letter of Appreciation’ from the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science (KFAS) appreciating the support provided by the company for their collaboration and efficiency in supporting them in KFAS’s endeavors.
